Shampoo & Conditioner

A sulphate free moisturising shampoo and the conditioner made to match it, both 250ml and watermelon scented, formulated for human hair extensions. Between them they cover the two steps every client repeats every week.

The shampoo is the safety step and the conditioner does the work. The shampoo cleans the scalp with milder surfactants alongside aloe vera, argan oil and evening primrose oil. The conditioner is vegan, built on argan oil, evening primrose oil and hydrolysed silk.

Washing a set of extensions

• Brush the hair through fully before it gets wet
• Shampoo at the scalp only, fingertips rather than nails
• Let the lather rinse down the length instead of piling the hair up
• Conditioner on mid-lengths and ends, two to three minutes, clear of the root
• Detangle with a wide tooth comb while the conditioner is in

Frequently asked questions

How soon after a fitting can extensions be washed?

Follow whatever your stylist says, since it varies by method. As a rule, tape and bonded fittings want at least 48 hours undisturbed. Wefts and clip-ins are less fussy.

Do I need the matching conditioner or will mine do?

Yours will do if it is a conditioner rather than a two in one, and if you keep it off the bonds. The pair is simply built to work together.

Can I use dry shampoo on extensions instead?

Occasionally, on the roots only, to stretch time between washes. Used often it builds up around the attachment points and makes them gritty and harder to brush past.
