Moisturising Conditioner - Watermelon Scent
A moisturising conditioner for hair extensions, 250ml, watermelon scented and vegan. If shampoo is the part you have to get right to avoid harm, conditioner is the part that does the actual work. Extension hair relies entirely on what you put on it, because there is no scalp at the top of a weft or a bonded strand sending oil down.
That is why conditioning is not optional on a set of extensions the way it might be on short natural hair. Skip it and the ends dry out, roughen and start to tangle against each other, and a tangled set is a shedding set. This formula is built around argan oil, evening primrose oil and hydrolysed silk to soften and add slip through the length.

How to use it: after shampooing, work a generous amount through the mid-lengths and ends and leave it for two to three minutes. Keep it away from the root area and off the bonds or tape tabs. Conditioner at the attachment point is the classic cause of tapes slipping and rings sliding, because it does exactly what it is meant to do and makes things slippery.
This is also the right moment to detangle. With conditioner in and the hair wet, comb through with a wide tooth comb from the ends upwards. Rinse thoroughly. Precautions: rinse the eyes immediately and thoroughly on contact.
Can I put conditioner on the roots of my extensions?
No, keep it off the attachment points. Conditioner makes hair slippery, which is the whole idea, but at a tape tab or a nano ring that means a bond that slides or lets go early. Start applying from a couple of inches below where the extensions are attached.
Do I need conditioner if I already use a leave-in?
They do different jobs. Rinse-out conditioner delivers a heavier dose of moisture and gives you the slip you need to detangle in the shower. A leave-in maintains softness between washes. On extensions, which cannot self-moisturise, most people benefit from both.
Will this weigh my extensions down?
Not if it is kept to the mid-lengths and ends and rinsed properly. Weighed down hair is usually a sign of product building up at the root or of conditioner not fully rinsed out. Rinse for longer than feels necessary, particularly on thick or long sets.
