Curly Hair Bundles

Curly hair bundles cut and wefted to a named curl pattern, so a sew-in or hand-tied install blends with your client's own texture instead of sitting on top of it. Every bundle is 100% Remy human hair, double drawn from root to tip, available in 60+ shades.

The curl patterns we carry

• 2C/2B Water Wave. A soft, defined S wave. The most forgiving pattern to blend and the easiest to straighten and return.
• 2C/3A Deep Curly Wave and 3A/3B Deep Wave. A deeper, springier wave into a loose curl. The most requested pattern in UK salons for curly clients.
• 3C/4A Jerry Curl. A tight, uniform curl with real bounce. Holds its pattern wet or dry.
• 4B/4A Kinky Curly. A dense coil for type 4 hair. This is the pattern most UK suppliers simply do not stock.
• 4B/4C Burmese Curly. The tightest coil we carry, for close-to-scalp blending on coily hair.

How many bundles you need

For a full head, most stylists use three bundles for shorter lengths and four for 22 inches and above. Curly hair takes more than straight hair for the same visual fullness, because the pattern uses up length. If you are working to a client budget, three bundles plus a leave-out usually reads fuller than four bundles with a closure.

Curl shrinkage is the thing clients misjudge most. A 20 inch kinky curly bundle can sit closer to 14 inches once it springs up. Always show a client the wet length and the dry length before you order.

Weave, weft or bundle

These are three words for the same thing. Bundles and weave are what most clients say. Weft is the salon word for the seam the hair is sewn onto. Ours are machine double drawn wefts, which means a tight, flat seam that lies close to the scalp and sheds far less than a hand tied weft under tension.

Caring for curly bundles

Wash in sections with a sulphate free shampoo, condition while the hair is still sectioned, and dry with the curl clumped rather than raked apart. Never brush dry. A wide tooth comb through conditioner is the only detangling a curly bundle should get.
