Deep Wave K-Tip keratin bond hair extensions from WAVE are graded 2C/3A, a deeper and springier wave that runs into a loose curl towards the ends. Packs hold 50g of 100% double drawn Remy human hair, attached one small strand at a time with a keratin bond.
This is where wave stops being a bend and starts behaving like curl: it has bounce, it lifts away from the head, and the ends want to loop. It is right if your hair dries into rounded, springy waves you can push into curls with your fingers, which is why it is the pattern most people mean when they search for curly hair extensions in a bonded method.
Between grades choose the looser one, since a 2C/3A can be scrunched towards curl while a genuine curl beside a wave sits visibly apart however good the shade match.

Springy textures need placing carefully, since a bond in the wrong spot gets pushed forward by the pattern rather than hidden by it. Each keratin bond is attached onto a fine section of hair with a heat tool, and bonds are moved up every four to eight weeks.
Treat this like curl, not wave. Wash sulphate free, detangle only under conditioner, and never brush it dry. Scrunch the water out with a cotton t shirt, add curl cream, then diffuse low. Silk at night stops it flattening.
A springy pattern eats length in a way a flat wave does not. Ordering 20 inches will not give 20 inches hanging: expect to lose roughly two to three inches once dried into shape.
Is Deep Wave wavy or curly?
It sits deliberately on the border. At 2C/3A the shape is rounder and bouncier than any of our wave patterns, but the loops stay open rather than closing into spirals. Clients who call their hair curly on a good day and wavy on a bad one tend to prefer it.
How is this different from Fumi Curly, which is also 2C/3A?
The grade is shared but the behaviour is not. Deep Wave is a continuous wave that deepens as it travels down the hair. Fumi Curly clumps into soft, separate curl pieces with visible gaps between them. Choose Deep Wave for flowing movement and Fumi for a piecey finish.
Can I wear Deep Wave straightened?
Occasionally, yes. It is human hair and it presses smooth with an iron and a protector. Do it regularly and the pattern loosens permanently, which defeats the purpose of buying a textured extension. If you straighten most weeks, our Straight K-Tips are the better buy.

K-Tip keratin bond extensions are recommended for fine hair because they use tiny, ultra lightweight individual bonds that avoid the bulk, heavy tension and pulling caused by traditional methods.
