Two of these protect the client and one protects the result. A connector works within half a centimetre of the scalp, so the shield sits flat between hot tool and skin. What is the measuring scale on a heat protection shield for?
Placement. The section passes through the guide hole and the printed scale runs 0.5 to 2.5cm, so every keratin tip goes in at exactly the same distance from the scalp. Even spacing is what makes a whole set grow out cleanly.
Is keratin bond remover safe on the client's own hair?
Used properly, and far safer than the alternative. Damage in pre-bonded work comes from cracking a bond that has not dissolved and dragging it through hair still gripping it. Apply it, wait for the keratin to break down, then release.
Do you supply heat connectors for K-tip fitting?
No. This page assumes you own a connector you trust and covers the consumables around it: shields that protect the scalp and set your spacing, remover for taking a set out cleanly, and clips to hold your sections while you work.
