Type 1 hair has no bend from root to tip, so it hangs heavy and catches a lot of light. That is what makes it look sleek, and also what makes placement matter. It sits with naturally straight hair and with hair you blow dry smooth. If your own hair keeps a soft bend, pick the looser pattern rather than the tighter one, because a texture slightly softer than yours settles over the top of your hair, while a tighter one sits on it and shows.

Work from the nape upwards in horizontal rows. Part cleanly across, clip everything above out of the way, backcomb lightly at the root of each section so the clips have something to hold, then press the middle clip shut first and the outer two after, so the weft lands level. Ten minutes is realistic once you have done it twice.
Straight Remy takes more handling than any textured set. Brush from the ends upwards, wash with a sulphate free shampoo only when the hair feels heavy, and keep heat tools moderate. Take the set out every night, without exception, then brush it through and store it flat.

Is 100g enough for a full head?
For fine to medium hair, yes. The set spreads across the back and both sides with enough left to lift the crown. If your own hair is thick, or you already wear it past your shoulders, the 150g set at 20 to 24 inch is the better buy, because 100g runs out of width before it reaches your parting.
Can I straighten or curl these clip ins?
Yes. This is human hair, not fibre, so it takes heat with a protectant on first. Style the set off your head rather than on it, so you are never running a hot iron past the clips, and keep the temperature moderate. Let each section cool fully before you brush it out.
How do I stop the clips showing?
Keep every row low and leave a full layer of your own hair loose over the top of it. Nothing goes above the crown at the back or above the ear at the sides. Straight hair shows a weft line sooner than a wavy one does, because there is no texture to break up the edge.
Can I sleep in them?
No. Take them out every night. Clips left in for eight hours drag on the same few strands of your own hair, and the wefts knot against the pillow where you cannot see it happening. Removal takes under a minute once you know the order of your rows, and the set lasts far longer for it.
