These long clip in hair extensions are a 150g full head set of double drawn Remy human hair, cut to 20, 22 and 24 inch. The texture is type 1 straight, no bend and no wave. This is the heavy set, and it exists for a different customer from the 100g one: thick hair, or medium hair that needs to read as genuinely long.
Be honest with yourself about density before you buy. 150g is half as much hair again as the 100g set, hung on longer wefts, and all of it has to grip your own roots for the whole day. Genuinely fine hair cannot anchor it. You feel the drag by mid afternoon and the clips end up visible because there is not enough of your hair to bury them in. If that describes you, the shorter 100g set will look better on you and cost less.

A heavier set needs more of your own hair behind every clip and more rows to spread the load. Take wider horizontal sections than you would for a light set, tease the root of each one, and seat the centre clip before the outer pair. Sit the top rows lower than feels natural so the weight pulls from strong hair rather than from the fine hair near your parting.
Long straight ends are the part that goes first. Condition from mid length down and keep product away from the clip bases, where build up loosens the grip. Brush before every wash, never during. Take the whole set out at night and lay it flat, or plait it loosely, so 24 inch of hair is not folded into a drawer.
Is 150g too heavy for fine hair?
Usually, yes. Fine hair does not give the clips enough to hold, so the set slips forward, aches by the afternoon and shows at the sides. It is not a durability problem, it is a physics one. Fine to medium hair is far better served by the 100g set in 16 to 20 inch.
Can I trim a set to blend it?
Yes, and most people should. Ends this long arrive blunt, which is what shows the join. Have a stylist point cut the ends and soften two or three face framing pieces while the set is on your head, then take it off and keep that shape for every fitting after.
How many rows should I use?
More than you would use for a light set. Spreading 150g over extra rows means each clip carries less, which is what stops the pulling. Start at the nape, work up in horizontal lines, and leave clear space between rows so nothing sits directly on top of the row underneath it.
Will 24 inch hair look obvious on me?
Length is only obvious when the density does not match it. A long set on thick hair reads as your own hair grown out. The same length on hair that is thin through the ends reads as extensions, because the width at the bottom does not follow from the width at the top.
