Heat Protection Spray
A 250ml dual-phase heat protectant for hair extensions, to be used before straighteners, tongs or a blow dryer. This is the single most important product on the shelf for anyone who heat styles a set, and the one most often skipped.
The reason it matters more on extensions than on your own hair comes down to replacement. Natural hair that gets heat damaged eventually grows out and is replaced by new hair from the root. Extension hair never is. Every pass of a straightener is cumulative on hair that will never be renewed, so a set that gets ironed unprotected is being quietly used up.
The formula is bi-phase, meaning it separates in the bottle and has to be shaken to combine. Heat-protective silicones form a light barrier on the shaft while conditioning agents including panthenol keep the hair from feeling stripped by the styling.

How to use it: shake the bottle properly until the two phases combine, mist generously and evenly over the hair, and comb through so nothing is missed. Patchy application means patchy protection. Let it settle for a moment, then style. Keep the mist off the bonds and tape tabs.

Do I really need heat protection on hair extensions?
More than on your own hair, yes. Natural hair damaged by heat is eventually replaced by new growth. Extension hair never is, so every unprotected pass of a straightener stays with that set until you replace it. Protection is what gets you months of good wear instead of weeks.
Why does the bottle need shaking?
It is a bi-phase formula, so the two layers separate when it stands. Shaking combines them just before use, which is how you get both the protective and the conditioning elements in the same spray. Misting an unshaken bottle gives you whichever phase happens to be on top.
What temperature should I style extensions at?
As low as will do the job. Human hair extensions are more vulnerable than the hair on your head because they take heat repeatedly with no new growth to replace them. Start low, add heat only if the style is not holding, and always mist and comb this through first.
