Frizz Control Hair Serum
A 30ml frizz control serum for smoothing and shine. Frizz on extensions is a surface problem. When the outside of the hair roughens, individual strands stop lying flat against each other and start standing away from the length, which is what you see as frizz and halo. A serum flattens that surface back down.
The formula is silicone based, which is precisely why it works. Silicone films sit on the outside of the shaft and fill in the roughness, so light reflects evenly and the hair reads as glossy rather than dull. It also stops humidity swelling the hair, which is the trigger for most bad frizz days in a British autumn.

How to use it: warm a small amount between your palms and apply through the mid-lengths and ends of damp or dry hair. Keep it away from the roots, both to avoid a greasy look and because product at a bond, tape tab or ring will loosen the fitting. On dry hair it is a finishing product, so apply it last, after styling, and use very little.
Because it is silicone based it does build up over time, so make sure your regular wash is thorough enough to clear it. Precautions: rinse the eyes immediately and thoroughly on contact. Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone.
Will silicone build up on my hair extensions?
It can over time, which is why a proper wash matters. Silicone gives you the smoothing and shine you want but sits on the surface, so it needs washing off rather than layering endlessly. Washing thoroughly two or three times a week keeps it in check.
How much serum should I use?
Very little. Two or three drops for shoulder length hair, a bit more for a long thick set. Warm it between your palms first so it spreads evenly. Too much on fine hair looks greasy immediately, and the only fix is another wash.
Can I use serum on curly extensions?
You can, though a leave-in conditioner or a curl creme usually suits curly textures better because they add moisture as well as smoothing. Serum is most at home on straight and wavy hair, or applied sparingly to the ends of a curly set to control flyaways.
