Natural Wave nano ring hair extensions from WAVE are graded 1C/2B: a defined soft S wave that holds its shape without product. Every pack is 50g of 100% double drawn Remy human hair applied strand by strand through silicone lined nano rings, so nothing is melted or glued at the root.
This is the middle of our wave family: the S is properly formed and you can see where each bend begins and ends, but it never closes into a ring. Judge yours on day two, when visible S shapes unrefreshed mean 1C/2B, a soft bend means Soft Wave and tight loops mean Deep Wave.
Between grades the safer move is downwards, because a looser wave works tighter as it dries while a firmer one reads as a separate texture beside your roots.

Each bond carries only a little hair, so fitting is slow and methodical. That is what makes it kind to fine hair: the ring is smaller than a micro ring, the lining cushions the strand, and no heat or glue reaches the scalp. Maintenance falls every four to eight weeks.
A formed S dries best undisturbed. Squeeze the water out, work a light leave in through the mid lengths, then air dry or diffuse low. Never brush it dry, as that breaks the S into frizz. A wide tooth comb under conditioner is enough.
A defined S eats more length than a soft bend, so what you order is not what hangs. On a 20 inch set expect to wear roughly an inch and a half to two inches shorter once dry.
What is the difference between Natural Wave and Water Wave?
Water Wave at 2C/2B is a flatter, tighter S travelling the full length of the hair. Natural Wave at 1C/2B is looser and softer, with more space between each bend. If your hair reads as wavy rather than curly, Natural Wave is usually the closer match.
Do I need product every day to keep the wave?
No. The pattern is in the hair rather than created by styling, so it returns each time you wash and dry. Most clients use a light leave in purely for definition and frizz control, not to make the wave happen. Skipping it will not straighten the hair.
Are nano rings suitable for fine hair?
They are the method we recommend most often for fine hair. There is no heat and no glue, the bond is very small and lies flat, and each ring holds only a light amount of hair. Your stylist should still assess density before fitting a full head.
How long will a set of Natural Wave nano bonds last?
Longevity depends far more on aftercare than on the hair. Sulphate free washing, low heat and a proper maintenance appointment every four to eight weeks all extend the life of a set. Lighter shades have had more processing, so they want a gentler routine.
